Jennifer and Tyler’s early summer wedding at Black Canyon Inn was nothing short of STUNNING! The couple chose the Boulders venue for its incredible scenery and warm, inviting atmosphere, which set the perfect stage for their heartfelt ceremony and epic night of dancing. From emotional moments during the ceremony to fun, goofy photos with the wedding party, every part of their day was filled with joy!

The Venue: Choosing the Boulders for Your Black Canyon Inn Wedding

If you’re dreaming of a wedding with breathtaking views, amazing food, and a spacious reception hall, then Black Canyon Inn at the Boulders venue is the spot for you! This venue is absolutely stunning, with panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains surrounding you. The only thing to note is that the large windows at the ceremony space can sometimes cut off the tops of the mountains. But trust me, with the right photographer and the surrounding ceremony space, we can more than makes up for it and still capture those beautiful mountains! 

The grounds are incredible, offering endless opportunities for gorgeous portraits, and the reception space is equally amazing. It’s bright, open, and perfect for dancing the night away. The fun does not stop there – the staff here was so welcoming and happy to be part of the celebration. They were even dancing at the dessert bar, which was beyond adorable!

The Ceremony

Before the ceremony, Jennifer shared a first look with her dad. It was such a sweet, heartfelt moment, and you could see how much that meant to both of them. I’m so glad I got to capture it!

Jennifer and Tyler decided to keep things traditional and wait to see each other until the ceremony. When Jennifer walked down the aisle, Tyler’s reaction was priceless – so emotional and sweet! It was one of those moments where you could just FEEL the love!

After the ceremony, we took some family photos and then had a blast with the wedding party! They were such a fun, goofy group, and the mountain views in the background made for the most epic photos. It’s always great when the wedding party is down for some fun!

Jennifer & Tyler’s Portraits on the Venue Grounds

One of my favorite parts of the day was when Jennifer and Tyler took some time to themselves for sunset portraits down by the pond. This little escape gave them a chance to enjoy each other’s company away from all the eyes. And the photos from this session?! Some of my absolute favorites! The grounds surrounding the venue provided the most stunning backdrop for portraits!

Reception Vibes and an Epic Dance Party

The reception at Black Canyon Inn was SO much fun! They had set up some lawn games in addition to all the dancing and overall, the evening was full of that feel-good energy! Their guests were on the dance floor nonstop, and the shots from the reception were full of laughter and joy! Jennifer and Tyler’s love was the center of it all, and their goofy, fun-loving personalities came through in every photo.
